Jackson Hole, Wyoming

On Wednesday, October 17th Chris Faddis, Angela Faddis, Gianna Faddis, Michelle Johncola, Jason Meyer, Danny Oertle, Andrea Prisby, and myself left the valley of the sun for Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The trip took 18 hours both ways, in an RV, but I have to say it was one of the most scenic 18 hour trips I have ever taken. Our mission was to help run a conference for kids in 3rd grade through high school while their parents were at the main conference. During the weekend conference we shared talks, praise and worship, had small group time, acted skits, and they also had the opportunity to make up their own skits to bible stories. We were very blessed as a team to get to spend sometime with some amazing kids and teens. Our trip to Wyoming also included some sight seeing. We spent some time in Grand Teton National park where we saw Buffalo and Elk. Our five day trip was a blessed time filled with fellowship, ministry, and countless incredible scenic moments.

Below are some pictures of highlights from our trip…

I Choose God

A book was recently published: I Choose God. It is a collection of life-stories from young people; testimonies of what God has done to rescue and redeem the lives of sinners. One of the stories is from our own Erin Hanson (class of 04). Two others are from good friends Melanie Welsch and Brooke Burns. The stories are honest- they tell of the hurt and damage of sin, but they are grace-filled, telling of the love of God in Christ that can change lives and hearts.
Check it out- you can order it at amazon or here.
