Praying...

My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from the words of my groaning?

O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, and am not silent.

Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the praise of Israel.

In you our fathers put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.

They cried to you and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not disappointed.

PSALM 22: 1-5

Holy Week Missions

During this Holy Week(end), the men's house of Youth Arise will be a place of refuge, prayer, and sleep for nine missionaries. "Youth for the Third Millenium" is an organization that sponsors "Holy Week Missions" around the globe, and for the first time, they have landed in Phoenix.

We at Youth Arise really wanted to be a part of it - even if in only a small way. So we are hosting nine great men of God (8 college students from Cal-Poly and their chaplain, Fr. John Bullock, LC).

Fr. John Bullock is a priest of the Legionaries of Christ, which is the priestly arm of Regnum Christi. Holy Week Missions also fit under the banner of Regnum Christi. To learn more about Regnum Christi click here. To get involved in future "Holy Week Missions", click here.
